Summer 2010 1st part

Summer Started the last week of May.
Josie spent that week in the hospital while Lilly graduated from 1st Grade!

We next took off to a family reunion in Zion. It was great to see all of the extended family. We had so much fun with Brent and Kris's kids. Josie's new best friend was Sarah!!!!

June was fabulous! We swam everyday, gardened, went to 70 cent matinee movies, and stayed up late. It was a such a better summer compared to last. Lilly finished ballet with a performance down at the Herberger. She actually won blue ribbons in all 5 swim matches which we had to convince her to go to. Josie's cast came off in April and she got really good at walking again. Thank goodness. Daily chemo was a lot easier this summer as well. Our garden was heavenly! Most everything we grew from seeds. We had strawberries, tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, cabbage, zucchini, corn, watermelon, peaches, pomegranates and flower garden for the girls. We are looking forward to our winter garden and citrus trees. July we spent in Utah at the Turners. I will have to post that next.

Our peaches were delicious!

Our garden on our side yard early spring before we got started!

Hi Angee! I've been catching up on your posts, and I am so glad to see Josie looking so great! And I am jealous of your garden. I'm looking at your hypothyroidism list, and I've got alot of those things, I might have to ask for a test too!

Hi, Angee! I just now found your post. Hadn't checked it in a long time. I was so glad to see your photos of Lilly and Josie. They look wonderful and so does your fabulous garden. Way to go!! I could almost smell those gorgeous ripe peaches. Wish I had some down here. I miss you.

Hey Angee, I love your garden holy cow. I tried and didn't get anything. Guess you have to water. I love to see your girls! I want to get together if at all possible. Hope all is well. I think of you often!!
